The European-funded Cornwall New Energy support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Cornwall to develop energy-related products, services and solutions.

Their event, entitled “Why investing in renewable energy is the only choice to sustain your business. A model for commercial solar systems.” is being held at St Austell Conference Centre on 5th June 2019. The seminar focuses on the business case for adopting renewable energy and other low carbon measures.

SAPC are described by CNE as one of “Cornwall’s sustainability trailblazers” and will be presenting alongside Clean Earth Energy.

SAPC have put sustainability at the heart of their business; our purpose-built factory embodies this commitment – and was awarded an ‘Excellent’ BREEAM rating, the world’s leading sustainability assessment. We were also recognised as one of Cornwall’s most sustainable businesses at this year’s Cornwall Sustainability Awards.

CleanEarth Energy have partnered with SAPC on our renewable energy programme, recently installing a 150kW roof mounted solar PV system that reduces both energy costs and carbon emissions. With over 500 wind and solar projects completed across the UK, CleanEarth have a detailed understanding of the financial and logistical issues around renewable deployment.

In addition to the unique perspectives offered by SAPC and CleanEarth, Cornwall New Energy will also give an overview of the technology and future trends, along with information on payback and funding models.

A free buffet lunch will be served from 1pm and there will be an option to tour the St Austell Printing Company Factory in small groups.

Free tickets are available for the event – you can register here.
